-lic, -an, sf Flat stone in an inclined position, supported by three stones placed perpendicularly, commonly supposed to be druidical remains. One in Alsace measures 36ft round, 12ft broad, and more than 4ft in thickness, is raised on other stones several feet from the ground; another in Pembrokeshire is 28ft high, and 20ft in circumference and one in Poictiers is 60ft round and is placed on five large stones.
